Green Project - Mountains Lives and Changing Himalayas

Ever since we have been working in tourism sector, we have committed to operate the trips in a responsible manner. We recognize the fragility of the world's wilderness environments and minimize our environmental impact by keeping our groups aware and active participation towards mountain lives and changing himalayas and operating services according to a ‘RESPECT LAW OF NATURE', that is provided to all groups, trek leaders, agents and staff. We make sure that our local environment of mountains remains unaltered, hospitality towards locals and make sure all nepalese staffs are well treated, equipped, insuranced and well paid, we respect indigenous cultures and take small steps in every opportunity to make a positive contribution wherever we travel.

We understand “RESPECT LAW OF NATURE” as:

Minimum negative economic, environmental and social impacts
Generation greater economic benefits for local people and enhancement the well-being of host communities
Improvement in working conditions and access to the industry
Involvement of local people in decisions that affect their lives and life chances
Making positive contributions to the conservation of natural and cultural heritage embracing diversity
Providing more enjoyable experiences for tourists through more meaningful connections with local people, and a greater understanding of local cultural, social and environmental issues
Providing access for physically challenged people culturally sensitive, encourages respect between tourists and hosts, and builds local pride and confidence”

Leave the camp site cleaner than you have found it.
No open fires.
Burn dry papers and packets in a safe place.
Keep local water clean and avoid using pollutants.
Plants should be left to flourish in their natural environment.
Help your guides and porters to follow conservation measures

As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility, we work in collabaration with various non-profit oriented organizations for the development of local community development. Our monetary contribution of 2 - 5% from annual profit obtained and physical involvement in the development into poverty alleviation, fight for Health, Hunger & Humanity, management for local workshop on environment awareness, awareness program, free education, tree plantation etc.
