Langtang is known for its brilliant trekking and spectacular landscapes. Lang means Yak and Tang means to follow.

An exploration to this wonderland offers an opportunity to discover villages, climb small peaks and visit glaciers at a comfortably low elevation, approach to Shishapangma and other massif mountains. North of Kathmandu and just south of the Tibetan border, the Langtang Himal is sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. To the west of Langtang is Ganesh Himal with peaks between 6,000- 7,000m.
